Elena GrantCharski
LPC
My name is Elena and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in clinical psychology. In my practice, I strongly believe in meeting each client where they are with a holistic approach. As a first-generation Bulgarian-American, I deeply understand the complex connotations and stigmas attached to mental health within immigrant families and otherwise. Because of this, I strive to create a space where you feel truly seen, validated, and safe to explore your story.
My work experience includes providing individual therapy for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault at a community center. I also have experience in a hospital intensive outpatient program, where I led groups for individuals with depression and anxiety.
I use a trauma-informed approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I have worked with adults dealing with anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, intergenerational trauma, personality disorders, and more.
