Greetings! My name is Kelly and I am a licensed social worker with a Masters in Social work and a specialization in Military Social Work. I have worked with Veterans and their families as well as adults and their families in the community. I look forward to walking alongside you in your journey to wellness.
As the spouse of a combat veteran, I understand the special culture and community shared within the military and first responder society. My focus is to facilitate and mentor your path from chaos to calm. We together will construct goals and sensible steps forward through a trauma informed cognitive behavioral approach.
I served as a case manager/counselor Northwest Compass in Mount Prospect and Veterans Path to Hope in McHenry. I was then awarded the opportunity to be a Program Manager at New Horizons, a transitional living program through the Veterans Path to Hope for homeless Veterans. It was through my experience that I learned to be a servant-leader holding the lantern for your path to be illuminated.
