Sandra Jo McClain, a graduate of Rutgers University and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has been assisting clients through trauma-informed strategies by creating a safe space for adolescents, adults, and couples to learn and practice healthy coping strategies and behaviors.
Sandra has a compassionate approach grounded in evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, Somatic Healing, and conflict-resolution skills. She also has experience engaging clients through Cinema Therapy while focusing on the power of imagery.
She assists clients experiencing trauma and co-occurring mental health conditions, including substance use disorder, process addictions, PTSD, FND, anxiety, depression, OCD, and ADHD, helping individuals become empowered over negative symptoms so they can begin a path to healing.
